General Counsel for Border States Electric

Evers Legal has been exclusively retained by Border States Electric (www.borderstates.com) to recruit its first General Counsel.  You will manage two junior attorneys, report to the CEO, and have full strategic responsibility for running the legal function.

Border States (founded in 1952) is a growing leading provider of supplies, materials management solutions, and delivery and logistics expertise to tens of thousands of customers across diverse industries.  Border States is 100 percent employee-owned (over 2,200 employees) with locations throughout the country.

Adjunct Counsel openings

In addition to traditional direct hire recruiting throughout the country, we also offer adjunct counsel on our payroll (in the Chicago area only).  Our work in this area is specific to the on-site flexible staffing needs of in-house law departments.  Our adjunct counsel help during hiring freeze periods (such as when a company is being acquired), staff absences (such as parental leave periods), and on longer term projects typically lasting at least 60 days.  We do not handle high volume, low paid document review matters.
