We appreciate our veteran Adjunct Counsel. Maggie Callaghan is now on assignment via Evers Legal at a brand name company. Back in 2017 – 2018, our client US Foods engaged Maggie for over a year. Similarly, David Schechtman is on assignment via Evers Legal for the second time. A few years back, David was on-site for us at Exelon for over a year, and he is currently at the same client as Maggie. Our general practice is to treat client information as confidential during an assignment, and then mention representative client names with permission later.
Our firm is known primarily for traditional direct hire search. But please don’t sleep on our Adjunct Counsel offering. For 10 years now, we have selectively worked with local clients (this is a Chicagoland area only service, whereas our traditional search work is national), to help law departments add depth without adding to headcount. Our volume is intentionally low; we don’t staff massive document review projects. We focus on secondment quality talent without law firm related complications and high cost. Our Adjunct Counsel are W2 employees of a third party employer-of-record and are fully insured. So you don’t have to be concerned with 1099 issues or health care coverage.
