Congratulations to Joe Porrello, who was recently hired as the first in-house Senior Counsel for Central Power Systems & Services. Central Power has been a huge success story under the entrepreneurial leadership of CEO Robin Roberts, building a massive manufacturing facility near Platte City, Missouri where the company makes mobile generators that are in high demand, especially among a strong data center customer base. The company also continues to grow its long-standing heavy machinery distribution and services network.
Joe is establishing the in-house legal function for CPower and reports directly to Robin. On paper, Joe’s readiness for this opportunity includes seven years of in-house experience with AutoAlert and ACV Auctions Inc. But as the recruiter who made this match, I believe it was Joe’s positive energy and thorough approach to the interview process that made the hiring decision easy for CPower. We talk about the paramount importance of culture fit in recruiting, and I am fortunate that this particular match made clear sense to everyone involved.
